ABOUT ME

hey, its me : )

firstly, and most importantly, I am in love with my Creator.

one of the reasons I didn’t start this blog sooner is because I thought that it would never be worth writing anything because “no one would understand how I feel”… but if God gave me time, and fingers to type, and a bit of money to buy a domain name, why wouldn’t I take that opportunity to ramble about His faithfulness to me?

I’m not here to boss y’all around, but to share real, human stories with the hope that you’ll keep walking, or crawling, or jogging to joy. while I haven’t personally experienced deep trauma or loss, I have struggled and grasped for something deeper, knowing there must be something more past my pride… and I think if we are truly honest with each other, we can relate to each other on that level, whether small or big.

so, fun fact time. keep reading to see some of my weirdnesses.

I am a servant of Christ, a daughter, a grand daughter, a sister, a niece, a friend. my people are the most important to me.

I tend to ramble, and sometimes I choose a run on sentence for the humor of it.

food, hot showers, sunshine, the end.

I crave communication with those who listen and care about my soul in return, but I’ll also be annoyingly loyal to you even when you don’t show up for me, because I believe you are WORTH it.

notebooks with chicken scratch but also a nice attempt at cursive two sentences later, you feel?

I am a huge advocate of impromptu dancing, anywhere and everywhere, but most especially in the kitchen.

I am picky about when I want to be in nature and will randomly convince myself when it’s ‘worth it’ or not so don’t try to give me a reason that I should “get some exercise and sun” *ahem mom*… but on that note it’s important to say that I will totally immerse myself in nature when I’m in the mood (or one of my favorites, watch the scenery from my window, wrapped a blanket ;).

in all seriousness, though, if you know me personally you know that I also need sunshine for my bodily existence…so you have my permission to make me go outside. maybe.

I can be slightly passive and more-than-slightly sarcastic when humans annoy me…

sometimes I make up witty sentences and pair odd adjectives with other words you might not have seen them with before but I mean, deal 🖐🏼

I am so excited to listen to your stories and get to know you better through honesty and storytelling.
